Don't forget the Dove Talent Show this Thursday, 2/4 and Friday, 2/5!! This showcase begins at 6:30 PM each evening in the cafeteria. We some outstanding performances by our students who are just waiting to shine! Volunteers are needed and appreciated for this event! Muffins for Moms
Our Dads' Club will be hosting Muffins for Moms on Friday, 2/12 starting at 6:45am. Come join us for a special treat for our special moms!
Valentine's Day parties
Please join your child in the classroom on Friday, 2/12 for a sweet afternoon of fun! Children will exchange cards, play games and enjoy a special treat! All parties will begin at 1:30pm.
Summer Santa 2010
Summer Santa 2010, the largest children's charity in greater Northeast Tarrant County, is holding a Toy Drive at Dove on February 8th-12th. Awards will be giving to the school that collects the most toys! Please visit www.summersanta.org to learn more about this charity.
Dove Float Continues Winning Tradition
After hours of work by our Dads' Club and talkented moms, the Dove Float was again spectacular!! Dove took home (again) First Place!! Special thanks to Rob Fenton and everyone else who donated their time to work on this great project!
Yearbook pictures needed!
Have great pictures of Dove activities you'd like to see in our yearbook? We are looking for your pictures for the '09-'10 yearbook. If you have any pictures from this year's school events, we would be happy to have them! All pictures used will be digital. There are two ways you could turn them in: Email them to dovepix@msn.com, and put the event name or grade level in the subject, OR put them on a disc and turn them into the Dove office labeled "yearbook pix". We want future events too and there are many upcoming (Light Parade, Breakfast with Santa, DDD, etc...). Please try and get these photos to us asap! We will do our best to get them published.
Dolphin Mosaic
Our school-wide student art project, the mosaic tile dolphin statue, has been completed and is waiting for installation. The kids had a lot of fun being part of this cool project, and we know they'll be proud to see it displayed out in front of our school very soon. Keep your eyes peeled and you might just have a Dolphin sighting!
