What is the DDC?

Breakfast with Santa,

Saturday, December 6th, 8-11am (Dove Cafeteria)

Santa Claus is comin' to Dove!  We are looking for Dads to help us serve pancakes and hot cocoa as the kids have their picture taken with the big man in the red suit.  We need help Friday, December 5th for Set up/Decoration and all Saturday morning on December 6th.  Click here for details!


DDC Float Needs:

We can always use gift cards from Lowe's and/or Wal-Mart (that way we can pick up stuff as we need it). Contact Rob Fenton for more information.

Items marked with ** are needed immediately to help get the basic structure completed. (If you have any of the following or have a connection for a possible free donation or discount please let us know ASAP).

  • **3 generators for the week of the parade (Dec. 4th) 110 volt between 3500 to 5000 watts (bigger the better).
  • 3" Deck Screws ASAP!
  • **Plexiglas or lexan 4x8 (clear)
  • Paint (need lots of white! also, red, green, gold, light blue, maroon) Oops paint is fine.
  • Cheap paint brushes, rollers, disposable roller pans

Decoration Items (can be used stuff from the attic or new):

  • Shiny metallic garland (silver)

Christmas Lights:

  • **C9 Christmas Lights (Clear bulbs & Red Bulbs) Available at Wal-Mart. Need to get these ASAP...they will sell out in the next couple of weeks. We need at least 5 strands of each.
  • Christmas Lights (mini red on white wire, white on white wire, clear C9's)

DDC Float Tear Down

December 5th - 7th

In order to avoid extra trailer rental fees, we need to have the trailer cleared by December 8th. The more help we have, the faster the work will get done! Please sign up for a short shift over the weekend following the Parade of Lights. No skills necessary...just the ability to destroy stuff!
