Dear Dove Families,
It’s time to kick off our annual Fall Fundraiser. This year we are pleased to announce that we will continue with Dolphin Donation$. This program replaces our annual catalog Fall Fundraiser, and is an opportunity for Dove PTA to raise money for the 2009 – 2010 school year.
Our Goal: $12,000.00 |
A simple plan:
Estimated 400 students X $30 = $12,000.00
Estimated 300 families X 40 = $12,000.00

Many employers match charitable contributions made by employees: i.e.
Verizon, Bank of America, Cisco, Citigroup, Countrywide Home Mortgage, JPMorgan Chase, Merrill Lynch, IBM, Exxon, Frito Lay, Microsoft, Nokia, PepsiCo, Temple-Inland, Tenet Healthcare, Siemens, Wells Fargo and Washington Mutual. Check with your HR dept.
How are/were the funds spent?
- Outside playground drinking water fountain
- Security camera for covered playground
- Technology and Web Site
- Educational tools and supplies for classrooms
- Teacher Appreciation
- Field Day
- Classroom Holiday parties
- Classroom fieldtrips
- Mosaic dolphin for the front of the school
- PTA supply shed
- Many, many more worthy needs that otherwise would not get funding
