Dear Dove Families,

Welcome to a new year as we "Saddle Up For Success"! This is going to be a very exciting year with the work that has been done on our building and over 70 new students!

We are very fortunate to have received great benefits from the latest bond election. We received several million dollars worth of repairs and updates. Many of the changes are not readily visible, but will prove to be extremely beneficial. Our entire heating and air conditioning system has been replaced and we are very excited about having a more consistent system. We now have sprinklers in the building in case of fire and every surface has received a new coat of paint. The parking lots have received resurfacing, a new clock system has been installed and the kitchen is the recipient of many upgrades. The amount of work done by the Dove staff and volunteers in order to pack up the entire building is indescribable, but the product is quite impressive. Unpacking was quite a chore as well, but we are ready for students and settled in quite well.

We welcome many new students! The word is out about the amazing students, involved parents and dedicated teachers at Dove. What a tremendous testimony to our success! People are entering our building with a huge knowledge of our story and our reputation. We have continually heard compliments about Dove students and parents! I know that we will be able to give a great introduction to all of our new families.

We begin 2008-09 with the Exemplary rating earned by the academic achievements from last year! This is very exciting and we will continue to work together in order to continue our exemplary status!
