2008-2009 School Year

Throughout the school year the Dove Dads’ Club works on many projects and events, including:

• All School Picnic
• Fall Festival  (Dr. Dove's Crazy Lab/DDC Cotton Candy Booth)
• Holiday Float  (Grapevine Main Street Parade Of Lights)
• Pancake Breakfast with Santa
• Talent Show
• Muffins For Mom
• Beach Bash Dance
• Field Day

We are always looking for Dads to help us at these events. However, being a part of the Dads’ Club does not necessarily require a time commitment.

In the past, Dads have contributed in many ways. One Dad worked for a soft drink company that was willing to donate drinks for our events. We’ve had Dads who have had access to trucks and trailers that we’ve used for holiday floats. A Dad who works in the music industry has recorded specialized music for school events. One Dad is helping by storing the materials from last year’s float.

You never know what your skills, specialties, or connections may be able to do for the Dove Dads’ Club. Please list anything about your job, business, or other interests you have that may be able to help us put together great events for our kids. Be creative. You won’t believe the stuff we can use.
